At that time, personal computers were starting to appear, so in 1984 I decided to move to Metal Leve/Allen Bradley to work in development with 8085/Z80/68000. It was then that I discovered PLCs. In 1993, Allen Bradley decided to move all development to the USA and closed the department.

I had always wanted to be an entrepreneur, and it was then that I began providing PLC programming services. After a few months, I started FieldBus Automação with Celso Anzai. Initially, it was reasonably easy as there was high demand, and we did everything from programming to commissioning, sales, management, etc. We grew in the automation area, hired employees, and I began to notice the first growth challenges, especially in attracting talent to support that growth.

In mid-1996, Adasoft contacted us. I was surprised by their business proposal because it was very interesting and had innovative products for the time. We started the partnership, and soon I realized that Adasoft was much more than “just” products: they were systems, marketing, technology, talent management, meritocracy, etc. We managed to sell the products to clients like IBM and Coca Cola, but for various reasons, our paths continued separately.

In our case, we rebranded as PeopleTeam because we realized that people make the difference in companies, hence the new company name. Over the years, we expanded our offerings beyond automation to include electrical projects, electrical assemblies, mechanical projects, mechanical manufacturing, IoT projects, and turnkey projects.

Then, after 22 years, perhaps due to reasons only fate can explain, we reconnected with Adasoft and were able to resume our collaboration, now with a powerful new model where synergies are highly productive. We are very determined to make this alliance work: with the merger of LOPAS, we will be able to overcome this stage of the company known as “NO MAN’s LAND.”  Read less

David   Briceño

Partner Director of Chile

Seventeen years ago, I began my career in industrial automation at a small company, a System Integrator. It was there that I started the first phase of my training: working with great professionals, I was able to observe and learn the processes of a company up close.

I held various roles such as apprentice engineer, draftsman, applications engineer, sales support, proposals engineer, and finally, programmer. Besides the purely technical aspects, I realized how much is done and needs to be done in a company to generate revenue, from the micro to the macro level.

A year later, I began my career as a "technical instructor" at Rockwell Automation, where a 26-year-old me was teaching courses to people with 26 years of experience! I had to develop leadership and confidence techniques, not just theoretically but also with the help of great factory professionals and many good people who sometimes walk beside us in life.

At Rockwell Automation, I acquired technical, managerial, and administrative knowledge and prepared myself to take the next step: starting my own company. And so it happened in September 2014, when we laid the first stone of VDA Services. We started in Venezuela, worked in the USA, and established our foundations in Chile.

I continued to meet great professionals, including Chady Abdul (current VP of Adasoft International), which allowed us to join one of the most important technology service companies in the world: Adasoft International. Today, we live in perfect synergy that allows us to offer local service with global experience.

Jorge Villalobos

Partner Director of Spain

My first position at Adasoft, where I arrived in 2013, was in business development in central Spain, where we managed to increase sales and open a new office in Madrid, which now has almost 30 professionals.

Since the beginning of 2024, I am Partner Director of Spain, managing both general and commercial management.

I specialize in implementing Automation and MES/MOM platforms for industries such as pharmaceutical, food and chemical.

My responsibilities range from consulting and management to project execution and direction. I help our clients define and carry out projects to implement solutions that fit their specific challenges and objectives.

I firmly believe that our industry is at a turning point, where innovation and rapid adaptation to new technologies are essential. Looking ahead, I see an increasingly digitized and automated industry, with a growing focus on sustainability and operational efficiency.

When I began my professional career at Adasoft, in 2000, I was still studying 3rd year of Telecommunications Engineering.

That was my debut in an international project.

As is usual at Adasoft, over the years I have changed departments and I have learned a lot, both in the different areas of the company and, in my case, in the execution of projects, sales, development and implementation of internal systems. . , finance and marketing and promotion.

And I have not only learned within the company: the factories are full of extraordinary Professionals with whom I have shared experiences and knowledge.

VP EMEA

I started my professional career in Adasoft in 1999, in the Development team. I was 29 years old, with 8 years of experience as a programmer, and very eager to continue learning and learning and developing myself as a person and as a professional.

Since I was always bothering the rest of the R&D team (always telling jokes and anecdotes), in the anecdotes), the company thought that I had what it took to sell (or, at least, that way I would stop bothering the I would stop bothering the other programmers).

And yes, I spent some time as a salesman, but I was also Bottling project manager, responsible for SPV, I lived in the USA and managed for 3 years the operations of the business in America. I came back to Spain to manage the MES project area, I was Commercial Director and now I am VP of EMEA, currently, I am VP of EMEA.

25 years have passed, I am no longer the young inexperienced person, but I still have as much (or more) enthusiasm as the first day. enthusiasm as the first day.

Our industry is going through a very sweet time, as the digital transformation of the industry is not a is not a destination, but a long journey.

Building on our origins as creators of industrial software (we developed the first SCADA (we developed the first SCADA, CMMS, BATCH, LIMS and MES that existed in Spain), at Adasoft we are exploiting our expertise of almost 40 years, bringing to the industry all over the world a total integration industry around the world a total integration, both vertically and horizontally, providing consulting, implementation and support.
